The film of actress Divya Khossla, Savi, directed by Abhinay Deo, does magic on audiences in theatres and OTT platforms alike. This theatre box office hit is making waves on Netflix since it has captured the 2nd position worldwide.
Savi has crossed the viewership for another recent hit, Laapataa Ladies. If Netflix data to be released is to go by, then Savi got a whopping 3.9 million views in week one of its digital release. In comparison, Laapataa Ladies only notched up 2.2 million views during the same period.
Acting has been getting rave reviews from Divya Khossla for her act as Savi. She not only carried the film with a strong on-screen presence but was also leading from the front when it came to promotional activities. She showed the spirit that her character demanded.
The Abhinay Deo-directed Savi is produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under their banners of Vishesh Films and T-Series, respectively, with Shiv Chanana and Sakshi Bhatt joining as co-producers. The film was released in theatres on 31 May 2024.
