The Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri actress opens up about the real work behind the glamour.
The Truth Behind the Spotlight
TV may look glamorous, but according to actress Eshaa Pathak, the reality is far from easy. Currently starring as Gauri in Sun Neo’s Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, Eshaa shares what it really takes to be an actor.
“People think acting is simple. They see the makeup, hair, and costumes and assume that’s it. But the real work starts when we step in front of the camera.”
Acting Is More Than Just Posing
Eshaa explains that while the crew finishes their tasks, actors stay on set, carrying the emotional and physical weight of the role.
“I wear heavy lehengas for hours, handle quick costume changes, and still have to perform. That’s not easy.”
Mental and Emotional Pressure
Beyond the physical demands, staying in character takes emotional strength.
“We memorize lines, stay focused, and perform with emotion—sometimes after 12-hour shifts. Right now, I’m not Eshaa. I’m Gauri. That mental shift is tough.”
She adds, “Anyone who thinks acting is easy should try one full-day shoot. That will change their mind.”
