“I Want to Be the Female Version of Shri Ram”

Mumbai, April 6 — Eshaa Pathak, who plays Gauri in Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri on Sun Neo, shares her spiritual side this Ram Navami. She reveals how the festival holds deep meaning for her, both personally and professionally.

Ram Navami: More Than Just a Festival

“Ram Navami is not just a festival for me; it’s a profound feeling,” says Eshaa.

She explains, “At home, we celebrate with devotion. During Chaitra Navratri, we perform prayers and rituals from early morning. Growing up in a Brahmin family, religious traditions were deeply rooted in me.”

Eshaa observes a fast on Ram Navami, ensuring she eats nothing without first performing puja. She adds, “Lord Ram’s values of dignity, self-control, and peace inspire me. I try to bring his calm and disciplined nature into my life. I want to be the female version of Shri Ram.”

Shri Ram: A Hero for Today’s Generation

Eshaa believes Shri Ram’s values are more relevant than ever.

“Today’s generation needs a real hero like Shri Ram,” she says. “People are so caught up in modern life that they forget their parents and values. Parents should always be our top priority because their experiences can guide us.”

She shares, “I’ve realized that what my parents say often turns out to be true. That’s why I encourage everyone to respect their elders, honor family values, and live a disciplined life like Shri Ram.”
