“It’s definitely a challenge balancing law school and acting, but it’s so worth it,” Gauri told us. Law school is demanding – you’ve got to be there, you’ve got to pay attention. So, Gauri uses every spare moment on set to catch up on her studies and attend classes.
She mentioned that her professors and classmates already knew her from TV, which was a bit surreal at first. There were times when she’d literally dash from morning classes straight to evening shoots in Goregaon, just to make it all work. Now that’s commitment!
Her Secret Weapon? Discipline!
Gauri credits her ability to juggle these two demanding worlds to good old-fashioned discipline and time management.
“I always have my books with me on set, and I study whenever I have a break between scenes. Even after we wrap for the day, I make sure to review my notes for at least an hour before bed,” she explained. Sure, she gets tired, but the feeling of accomplishment keeps her motivated. Acting lets her creative side shine, while law sharpens her mind.
