While talking about the festival, Gauri shared,
“Bhaidooj has always been one of my favourite festivals because it honours the bond between a brother and sister. My brother has always been there for me. He cares for me, protects me, and always looks out for me.”
Moreover, she revealed that even with her busy shooting schedule, her brother makes time to visit her on set.
“He makes sure I’m okay and takes care of the smallest things,” she said. “This year, I decided to take a short break from Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani to celebrate Diwali and Bhaidooj with my family. I honestly can’t wait to spend some quality time with them.”
A Memory That Still Shines Bright
Looking back, Gauri fondly recalled one of her sweetest childhood memories.
“When we were kids, my brother once saved his pocket money just to buy me a small hair clip for Bhaidooj. It was such a simple thing, yet it meant so much to me. I still have that clip with me even today,” she said with a smile.
In addition, she reflected on how that small gesture continues to remind her of her brother’s unconditional love.
“It always makes me think about how pure and selfless a brother’s love can truly be.”
