Geetanjali Mishra, known for her role as Rajesh in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, emphasizes the importance of the drive to excel in achieving success. She asserts that while ambition is essential, the motivation to excel is what truly leads to outstanding performance.
“Ambition is necessary for growth, but the drive to excel surpasses ambition,” Mishra explained. “You can have numerous ambitions, but without the drive to excel in your current endeavor, you can’t achieve your goals.”
Mishra advocates for creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. “I believe in making opportunities by maximizing my efforts in the present,” she stated.
When faced with multiple opportunities, Mishra evaluates the pros and cons carefully. “If the risk only affects me, I am willing to take it for a better opportunity, provided it aligns with my ethics,” she said. “However, if the risk involves someone else’s financial loss or reputation, I choose the opportunity where I believe I can excel more.”
Reflecting on her career, Mishra expressed satisfaction. “I focus on giving my best to the current project without worrying about the future,” she shared. “I have loyal fans who still appreciate work I did 7-8 years ago.”
Mishra also highlights the significance of a positive environment on set for an actor’s performance. “We are influenced by our surroundings. A positive atmosphere on set naturally enhances everyone’s performance,” she concluded.
