Hollywood Game Night Mongolia Premiere 2026

The hit American party game show Hollywood Game Night, hosted by Emmy-winning Jane Lynch, is heading to Mongolia. NBCUniversal Formats has teamed up with Mongolia’s Edutainment TV to launch a brand-new local version of the popular celebrity game night experience. The new Mongolian version is set to make its debut early in 2026 in a prime Sunday evening slot, the latest international adaptation of the popular format.

In the series, two non-celebrity contestants team up with celebrities to take on fun and spirited party games and trivia challenges, with a cash prize at stake. Originally developed for NBC by Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner, Hollywood Game Night enjoyed seven successful seasons in the U.S. The format has since been licensed globally in over 25 territories, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The Mongolia version will be the seventh NBCUniversal Formats release in the country and the second partnership with Edutainment TV following their local Master of Photography adaptation.

Moreover, Linfield Ng, NBCUniversal’s VP of Format Sales and Production, enthused that the entertaining and energetic spirit of Hollywood Game Night has resonated well across Asia, and a partnership with Edutainment TV hopes to infuse this vibrant energy into Mongolian viewers for the first time in 2026 with a new dose of fun and celebrity charm.
