I FEEL PRETTY – Remember Jack Black & Gweneth Paltrow in “Shallow Hal”, well lets go few years later to now in the present with Amy Schumer who stars in her kind of self-motivational bio type comedy called, “I FEEL PRETTY”
The theme of “Love is in the eye of the beholder”, is something that one should feel is true, and you get that with this film. Also many of us out there may feel the need for that push to be confident, persuasive, and feel good to be who they are. If your chubby, fat, tall, skinny, bald, or whatever you may feel that brings you down, you must own it and feel sexy and proud for who you are.
Kudos to Amy Schumer who brings this hilarious concept to to the screen in this film. The only grievance i had with “I FEEL PRETTY”, is towards the end, where the film goes towards the Hollywood beaten path of the predictable moral of the story feel. I wish it could have not done that, and gone for more of the zaniness that the film started to become.
The bikini contest is very hilarious, and even Michelle Williams playing the cosmetic companies head as “Lily LeClaire” is cute and funny. The girl is diverse in all her films. Overall ladies especially will get kick out of this film. The film gets a generous 3 star recommendation. Enjoy!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
