The much-awaited mythological spectacle Jai Hanuman has officially gone on floors. The film commenced with a grand Muhurat Puja at the sacred Anjanadri Betta, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman.
Presented by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty in the powerful role of Lord Hanuman. Moreover, the ambitious project is helmed by filmmaker Prasanth Varma.
A Sacred Beginning at Anjanadri Betta
To begin with, the makers chose Anjanadri Betta for the Muhurat ceremony due to its immense spiritual significance. The hill is revered as the birthplace of Anjaneya, the son of Anjana Devi.
The ceremony was led by Bhushan Kumar, producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, director Prasanth Varma, and Shiv Chanana.
Adding further significance to the occasion, Rishab Shetty attended the ritual alongside Teja Sajja, who previously headlined Hanuman. Consequently, their presence enhanced both the spiritual and cinematic importance of the launch.
A Grand Vision for Pan-India Audiences
Furthermore, the collaboration between T-Series and Mythri Movie Makers signals a large-scale cinematic vision. The film is being mounted as a true pan-India epic.
It will feature expansive production design, advanced technology, and high-end visual effects. At the same time, the makers aim to maintain cultural authenticity while delivering a visually spectacular experience.
A Tribute to Faith, Courage and Strength
Above all, Jai Hanuman is envisioned as a heartfelt tribute to one of India’s most revered deities. The narrative will celebrate faith, devotion, courage, and inner strength.
Presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the magnum opus aspires to connect with audiences across languages and regions.
As filming begins, Jai Hanuman stands out as one of the most ambitious mythological films in Indian cinema—seamlessly blending tradition with modern storytelling and cinematic excellence.
