Hollywood heavyweight JJ Perry, the guy behind the stunts in John Wick and Fast & Furious, is currently in Mumbai orchestrating a massive 45-day action shoot for Yash’s highly anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-ups. Word on the street is that this is one of the biggest action sequences ever attempted in Indian cinema!
Hollywood Meets Indian Talent
Here’s a cool twist: Perry has decided to go all-in with local talent, choosing an exclusively Indian stunt team for this project.
“These guys are world-class, plain and simple. That’s why I wanted them,” Perry said enthusiastically. “We’re really pushing the envelope together.”
And to add to the challenge (and the visual drama), they’re filming these intense action scenes during Mumbai’s monsoon season. Talk about upping the ante!

This massive action sequence has been months in the making, with detailed storyboards, pre-visualization, and tons of rehearsals. The key players driving this project are:

Perry, who’s worked in 39 countries (!), is calling this project a major career highlight.
“Indian cinema is just so creative, artistic, and brave. Working with Yash, Geetu, and the whole team has been an amazing experience,” he said.
A Film for Everyone, Everywhere
Toxic is breaking ground as the first large-scale bilingual film to be shot in both Kannada and English. And to make sure everyone can enjoy it, it will also be dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. That’s how you create a movie with both local heart and global appeal!
