Lionsgate, the global content powerhouse (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), has taken a monumental step by acquiring the North American and U.K. rights to the Indian action extravaganza, “Kill,” set to hit theaters in 2024.

Directed by the visionary Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by the dynamic teams of Karan Johar & Apoorva Mehta from Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga Kapoor & Achin Jain from Sikhya Entertainment, this groundbreaking collaboration marks the very first time an Indian production has partnered with a Hollywood studio for the theatrical release of a mainstream Hindi language film in North America and the U.K.

Featuring the rising star Lakshya, alongside the talented Raghav Juyal and the enchanting Tanya Maniktala, “Kill” made its electrifying world premiere at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival, where it claimed a coveted spot in the Midnight Madness selection.

The story unfolds with star-crossed lovers, Tulika (Maniktala) and Amrit (Lakshya), whose clandestine romance is thrust into jeopardy when Tulika’s family whisks her away on the Rajdhani Express headed for New Delhi, where an arranged marriage awaits. In the face of fate, commandos Amrit and his friend embark on a high-octane “rescue” mission that evolves into a blood-soaked adventure.

“Kill” blurs the lines between duty and emotion, where every twist of the track carries the weight of life and death. It paints a vivid portrait of the lengths a man will go to in the name of love, a journey that may just rewrite his destiny.
