Taiwan’s official submission for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, Left-Handed Girl, is set to arrive on Netflix. The film drew a full house of over 210 viewers during its special screening at the International Film Festival of India 2025 (IFFI) at INOX Panjim, where it received an enthusiastic response.

The film’s authentic portrayal of Taipei’s urban life, along with its grounded performances and emotional depth, quickly won over audiences. Moreover, the screening further strengthened its rising reputation on the global festival circuit.
