Lemonada CEO Steps Down, Co-Founder Takes Over

At the end of 2025, Jessica Cordova Kramer, co-founder and CEO of Lemonada Media, will step down from her position and give it to Stephanie Wittels Wachs, who was previously the chief creative officer. This change comes after PodX Group bought a majority stake in the podcast network in May 2025. This will help the company grow internationally. Since its launch in 2019, Kramer has helped make Lemonada a major U.S. podcast powerhouse, with hits like “Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus.”

Stephanie Wittels Wachs, who started Lemonada with Kramer after their brothers died, will be the CEO and be in charge of the company’s day-to-day operations and creative strategy. Wachs is known for creating the hit show “Last Day” and is one of the most influential people in podcasting. He is also an expert at telling stories. As Lemonada grows its list of almost 50 podcasts under PodX Group’s global network, this move makes sure that things stay the same.

Lemonada Media started with the goal of “making life suck less,” but it has grown from its roots in grief to become an award-winning network that connects and entertains people. The change in leadership comes at a time when the podcast industry is doing well. New shows like the Mandy Patinkin series show that the industry is still coming up with new ideas. Kramer will stop doing his daily tasks, but he will still be involved in the company’s next phase after the acquisition.
