A Passion Discovered Early
Maitri recalls her early love for dance. “When I was three, I mimicked Madhuri Dixit’s moves, and my mom noticed my talent. She enrolled me in Kathak classes, but I quickly realized it wasn’t my true calling.”
A Break for Education
Maitri began her career as a child artist in 2012, but took a break to focus on her studies. “Education was important, so I stepped back from acting. But my love for dance never faded,” she says.
Dance Became My True Passion
Despite the break from acting, Maitri continued to pursue dance. “I participated in a dance reality show and later became a professional lyrical hip-hop dancer. My mom always supported me, recognizing that hip-hop was my true passion.”
