Matt Prokop, who used to be in High School Musical 3, is in a lot of trouble after being arrested in Texas for having child pornography and resisting arrest. On Christmas Eve 2025 in Victoria County, police arrested him for allegedly breaking the terms of his bond in a May 2024 aggravated assault case.
Prokop, who played Jason Cross in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, is still in county jail without bail. Law enforcement confirmed that the charges are based on discovered child sexual abuse material, which shocked the public even more because of his Disney background. This is another legal setback, following reports of abusive behavior toward ex-girlfriend Sarah Hyland in the past.
