Dina Powell McCormick joins Meta’s management team to help set the company’s overall strategy and make sure it gets done. She also wants to make strategic capital partnerships that will allow for long-term investment.
Powell McCormick has worked in global finance for more than 25 years, including 16 years at Goldman Sachs, where he held senior positions such as leading sovereign investment banking. She has worked in the public sector as Deputy National Security Advisor under President Donald Trump and Assistant Secretary of State under President George W. Bush. Most recently, she worked at BDT & MSD Partners as Vice Chair, President, and Head of Global Client Services.
The appointment shows that Meta is focused on expanding data centers, energy systems, and global connectivity for cutting-edge AI. Zuckerberg stressed her role in working with the government and funding AI infrastructure.
