Bollywood celebrities Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal collaborated with NGO MukkaMaar to host a unique Jiu Jitsu class taught by world champions Andressa Citra and Lucas Valente, marking a significant step toward empowering young ladies. The goal of the session was to give girls confidence and self-defence skills.
Ishita Sharma, an actor, started MukkaMaar, a well-known organization that teaches young girls self-defence and empowers them to exercise their agency through martial arts and sports. With its powerful initiatives, MukkaMaar has been a leader in the empowerment of females over the years.
“Self-defense is not just about fighting back; it’s about building confidence, resilience, and awareness,” said Richa Chadha in a statement promoting the campaign. We thought this class would be a special chance for the girls when we found out Andressa was interested in coming.
