The Kuberaa song launch in Mumbai started with a surprise — two back-to-back teaser previews. This was followed by the high-energy release of the new track of the movie, “Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum”, featuring Nagarjuna, setting the tone for an upbeat evening.
Nagarjuna Reveals Why Kuberaa Is Special
Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni opened up about his strong affinity towards the project.
“The film came to me when I was thinking about what is next. I couldn’t be doing the same thing again.”
He termed Kuberaa as a turning point — a new opportunity at the right moment.
A 15-Year Dream Fulfilled
Nagarjuna opened up he had been eager to collaborate with Sekhar Kammula for more than 15 years.
“Sekhar asked me if I’d take up this role, and I said yes right away. I didn’t even inquire about the role.”
He appreciated the director’s emotional truth and realistic narration.
“His heart is so pure. That reflects in each frame.”
Star Cast and Multi-Language Release
Directed by National Award-winning Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa features Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna. Nagarjuna’s involvement adds great value to the film’s star power.
Music is by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP). The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, reaching a broad pan-India audience.

The movie is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.
Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth co-produce, while Mugafi takes care of North India presentation and distribution. Nagarjuna’s influence in production ensures a strategic release approach.
