Pan-India Film Releases in Theatres on June 20, 2025
Attendees at the Kuberaa Pre-Release Event got a special preview of this much-anticipated film, which features Nagarjuna.The pre-release event of Kuberaa in Hyderabad was a celebration night, full of emotions, and cinema pride. The team united before the grand global release of the film, showcasing Nagarjuna’s involvement.
Nagarjuna Describes Working with Dhanush as an “Honour”
Addressing the event, Nagarjuna Akkineni appreciated his co-actor Dhanush, highlighting his admiration for them both.
“Dhanush, it was great working with you. I feel it’s an honour,” he exclaimed. “I have watched your movies. Watching you work on set, the way you get into character, it’s just exceptional. God bless you with more glory and success.”
“Kuberaa Belongs to Sekhar Kammula”
Nagarjuna reserved his highest praise for the director of the film, asserting that his part in Kuberaa was driven by Sekhar Kammula’s vision.
“To discuss Kuberaa, I have one individual in mind—Sekhar Kammula. This is not my movie or Dhanush’s or Rashmika’s. This is Sekhar Kammula’s movie. We are all merely his characters.” He also praised the director’s new risk-taker approach.
“Sekhar ventured out of his comfort zone—and took us out of ours. For the first time in a long time, this was like real teamwork. A great experience,” he added about his collaboration with Nagarjuna.

Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa features Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna.
Music is composed by rockstar music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), lending muscle to the film’s emotional core.
Strong Backing and Wide Reach
Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao produce the film under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt. Ltd., along with Nagarjuna.
Co-producers are Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth. Mugafi distributes the film in North India and heads its distribution in the region.

Kuberaa releases in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, thus truly a pan-India movie. With a gripping tale and good performances, including Nagarjuna’s, it will connect across cultures.
