Nebraska Edges Vanderbilt 74-72 on Frager’s Buzzer-Beater for Sweet 16

On March 21, 2026, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, the No. 4 seed Nebraska Cornhuskers beat the No. 5 seed Vanderbilt Commodores in the second round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. The score was 74–72. With only 2.2 seconds left, Braden Frager’s driving layup sealed the win and sent Nebraska to the Sweet 16 for the first time ever.
