30th August 2024 — Netflix India’s critically acclaimed series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar has made waves on the global stage, earning prestigious nominations in two categories at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards 2024). The series is vying for the titles of Best OTT Original and Best Original Song for ‘Sakal Ban,’ marking a significant achievement for Indian storytelling as the sole Indian title to receive nominations in these categories.
The ACA & G.OTT Awards 2024 will take place on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at the BIFF Theater of the Busan Cinema Center in South Korea.
Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh are among the outstanding cast members of Bhansali Productions’ and visionary director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The series has captivated audiences with its poignant narrative, weaving a tale of forbidden love and duty. The music, which Bhansali himself composed, elevates the cinematic experience by adding a rich, evocative layer to the storytelling.
