COLORS’ supernatural drama ‘Suhagan Chudail’ continues to captivate audiences with its opulent wedding scenes, featuring Nia Sharma in the role of Nishigandha. The actress dazzles in a striking black bridal outfit, garnering much attention from viewers. However, in real life, Nia has different plans for her own wedding, preferring more traditional colours and styles.
In a recent interview, Nia Sharma shared her future wedding aspirations, revealing that she envisions herself in a heavy lehenga in shades of peach or deep red, adorned with exquisite jewellery and floral bracelets. Despite her glamorous on-screen persona, Nia’s real-life bridal dreams lean towards classic elegance. She confessed that while she isn’t ready to tie the knot just yet, the elaborate ceremonies on ‘Suhagan Chudail’ have inspired her to imagine her special day.
“Weddings are always exciting, especially when it’s someone you know getting married. But when it’s your wedding, it’s a whole different story!” Nia said. “In my 13-year career, I’ve worn so many bridal outfits and loved each one. But choosing for my wedding feels like such a big deal. It’s not just about looking pretty and having fun dancing – you need to know the person you’re marrying. That’s the most important part.”
Reflecting on her on-screen bridal look, she added, “I loved the black wedding outfit I wore as Nishigandha in ‘Suhagan Chudail’. But for my real wedding, I’d go for something more traditional. I’m thinking of a heavy lehenga in peach or deep red, with beautiful jewellery and flower bracelets in my hair. I want to show off my bridal look! I’m not quite ready to make such a big life decision yet. But when the time comes, I already have a clear picture of how I want to look on my special day thanks to Suhagan Chudail.”
Dramatic Twists in ‘Suhagan Chudail’
The drama in ‘Suhagan Chudail’ intensifies as post-wedding celebrations lead to unexpected twists. Viju’s attempt to expose Nishigandha backfires, resulting in Moksh (played by Zayn Ibad Khan) setting the bed on fire. Nishigandha mistakenly accuses Deeya (portrayed by Debchandrima Singha Roy), who then hides her ring and secretly intoxicates Moksh before fleeing with him. Nishigandha retaliates by kidnapping both Deeya and Moksh, but not before Mahaasur intervenes, reminding Nishigandha of Moksh’s commitment to Deeya. In a dramatic turn of events, Nishigandha manipulates the family and sends Deeya to the taykhanna. The suspense builds as viewers eagerly await to see how Deeya will escape and save Moksh.
