Pankaj Tripathi’s Theatre Roots

Pankaj Tripathi’s connection with theatre is deep-rooted. Born in the small village of Belsand in Gopalganj, Bihar, Pankaj’s love for acting began in his early years when he performed in street plays and regional theatre (rangmanch). It was my first teacher, my first love in the performing arts. I owe everything to the lessons I learned on the stage during my early days in Gopalganj, where I first performed street plays and rangmanch.”
