Actor Prashant Bajaj, from Guwahati, is set to star in Jaat, alongside Bollywood legends Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda. In an exclusive interview, Bajaj shares his excitement about the role and experience on set.
How Prashant Joined Jaat
Bajaj recalls how he got the role: “I was introduced to director Gopichand Malenini through my friend Jay Prakash. After some discussions, Gopi Sir offered me a role in Jaat.”
A Unique Character Look
Prashant’s character look in Jaat is a significant departure from his previous roles. “It takes two hours to get into character. My role is wild, brutal, and something I’ve always wanted to do,” he says.
Memorable Screen Time with Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda
Bajaj shares that he has intense scenes with Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vineet Kumar Singh. “Working with Gopi Sir brings out the best in every actor. The scenes with Vineet are amazing,” he adds.
Learning From Bollywood Legends
For Bajaj, working with Deol and Hooda has been a huge learning experience. “Sunny Sir works out two hours daily, which inspires me. Randeep Bhaiya makes everyone feel comfortable on set, and Sunny Sir helped me during challenging moments,” he shares.
A Dream Come True
Sharing the screen with Sunny Deol was a dream for Prashant. “It felt surreal to work with him. I’ve always admired him,” Bajaj says.
Looking Ahead: Challenging Roles
Prashant views Jaat as a major milestone in his career. “This is a jackpot for me. I want to focus on playing challenging grey roles that leave a lasting impact,” he concludes.
