He is recognized as an “Ambassador of Indian Arts and Culture” and raises the Indian flag in Melbourne’s Federation Square. At the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024, Ram Charan, a famous actor from India, raised the Indian flag at Federation Square in Melbourne. This will always be remembered. This was about the event where the flag was raised. I was very proud of the spirit of Indian film and how it has affected culture around the world.
The main guest at this dinner this time was Ram Charan. He was the most important guest at this year’s festival, which added to the fun atmosphere of IFFM, which is now in its 15th year and is thought to be the biggest celebration of Indian film outside of India. The festival runs from August 15th to August 25th. From August 15th to 25th, the event brings together a wide range of people to enjoy the wealth of Indian films and culture.
Besides this, the Victorian government gave Ram Charan the title “Ambassador of Indian Arts and Culture” at the yearly IFFM awards at the Palais Theater. Hundreds of people from the Indian diaspora met at Federation Square to party with pride and enthusiasm. His appearance and the ceremony of raising the flag were two of the main things that got people excited.
Ram Charan spoke about how he felt about the event: “It’s such a proud moment for all Indians to be here, hoisting the Indian flag in Australia.” It was a great time coming here 12 years ago to film a movie in Melbourne and Sydney. There are a lot of Indian people here today, which makes me proud. We’re going global, and our culture and movies are being recognized on channels around the world. The young people here are in charge of the future, which makes me happy.
The IFFM 2024 event was going to be their promise to share Indian culture with the world. When people waved the Indian tricolour, it was a sign of togetherness and national pride.
