Ramnitu, the South Indian actress who has starred in films like Mr Painter, Dhanush, and Rajkumari, is all set to make her web debut with the second season of Alt Balaji’s popular show “Honey Trap Squad”. The show is a thriller that revolves around a group of women who use their charm and intelligence to trap and expose corrupt men.

Ramnitu plays one of the members of the squad, who is a fearless and confident girl. She said, “I love my character. She is very enthusiastic and can handle any situation. She does not depend on anyone and trusts her instincts. I can relate to her a lot because I also believe in facing challenges and fighting for myself.”

However, playing this character was not easy for Ramnitu, who had to do some bold scenes for the first time in her career. She said, “I have never done anything bold in my life before and this was the first time I was doing a love-making scene and that too with a girl. It was quite challenging and I was not comfortable at first. But my co-star was very supportive and made me feel relaxed. She told me that we are just actors and we don’t have to think too much. When I saw the scene later, it came out very well and it was all because of her. I would say that I kissed a girl, and I liked it.”

Ramnitu also praised her co-stars and the producer Santosh Gupta for making her experience enjoyable. She said, “I had a wonderful team to work with. Everyone was so nice and cooperative. It was fun shooting with them and I had a great time. Santosh ji is a gem of a person. He is very kind and caring. He takes care of the artists very well and one should learn from him.”

Ramnitu is happy with how her career is going but she is also keen to explore other opportunities and genres. She said, “I want to do something different from what I have done before. It should be challenging and exciting. I want to do all kinds of characters and not limit myself to anything specific.”
