New Delhi, July 27, 2025 — Actor-turned MP Ravi Kishan has received the Sansad Ratna Award 2025, his second award. The award is given to recognize outstanding parliamentary performance.
Distinguished Honour at New Maharashtra Sadan
The award function was held at New Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. It was graced by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Chairman Hansraj Ahir.
The Prime Point Foundation gave the award, giving credit to Ravi Kishan’s regular work in Parliament.

Posting it on X (previously Twitter), he said:
“It is a moment of immense pride and honour… This award reflects the trust of Gorakhpur and Purvanchal.”
He thanked PM Narendra Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath, and Prime Point Foundation founder K. Srinivasan for their regular motivation.

Ravi Kishan is the representative of Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha.

Comic Comeback in ‘Son of Sardaar 2’
As an actor, he will next be seen in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar 2’.
He acts in a Sardaar character for the first time, getting back to comedy after his success in ‘Laapataa Ladies’.
The movie is coming out in theatres on August 1, 2025.
