From Beauty Queen to TV Star
Remember Reha Sukheja, that amazing Miss India Universe 2010 1st runner-up? She started out with so much poise and determination! She became a top supermodel in India, strutting the runway for huge names like Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Anju Modi, and Gaurav Gupta. Talk about impressive!
Now, she’s bringing that same spark to the reality show “Chhoriyan Chali Gaon,” where her personality and competitive spirit are winning everyone over.
That Pastry-on-a-Tissue Memory
For Reha, Raksha Bandhan is all about those genuine, heartfelt moments. She remembers one Rakhi from about 8 or 9 years ago so clearly.
“I woke my brother up super early to tie the Rakhi before he headed to work. But, of course, there were no sweets to be found at 7 am! So, after my show, I grabbed a pastry from the dinner buffet, carefully carried it home on a tissue, and fed it to him at like 11:30 pm—just before the day was over.” How sweet is that?
From “Delayed” Gifts to Bigger Surprises
Reha laughs when she remembers a time her brother used to give her gifts… eventually.
“He’d delay them, like a post-dated cheque! Now, thankfully, they’re on time, and they’re getting bigger and better every year.”
Earliest Rakhi Memory
Her very first Rakhi memory is still her absolute favorite.
“My mom showed me how to put the thali together, how to tie the Rakhi, and then how to feed my brother, like, 20 kaju katlis—his stomach is a bottomless pit, haha! It was so special for both of us.”
