Chaka Khan, Amy Allen Honored at 2026 Resonator Awards with Olivia Rodrigo

The 2026 Resonator Awards, which We Are Moving The Needle is putting on to support women and non-binary music producers and engineers, will be held on January 27 at Chaplin Studios in Los Angeles during Grammy week. Chaka Khan, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is the main honoree with the Luminary Award for her lasting impact on music and culture. Amy Allen, a songwriter, gets the Calliope Award. St. Vincent gets the Golden Trifecta Award, and Haim gets the Disruptors Award.

Olivia Rodrigo gave the award to St. Vincent, Addison Rae gave the award to Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser, Laufey gave the award to Amy Allen, and Anderson .Paak for Alissia. Jason Isbell, Aaron Dessner, Sia, Tony Berg, and Rostam are also presenting, making sure that the night is full of celebrations with friends. The event also honors trailblazers like Allee Willis (in memoriam), Elaine Martone, and Judith Sherman with the Resonator of Fame.

Chaka Khan said, “Empowered women empower women… Together, we are moving the needle.” After the first event in 2024, the awards will be back after being put off in 2025 because of wildfires in LA.
