Reyaansh Vir Chadha, known for his role as a Tantrik in Shaitani Rasmein on Star Bharat, recently shared insights into the surprising similarities and stark contrasts between himself and his on-screen character.
A Unique Character in a Unique Show
Reyaansh reveals that Shaitani Rasmein is far from a typical social drama. “My character is layered and unpredictable. He reacts based on the situation, making him relatable to everyone,” says Reyaansh. He connects with his character’s vulnerability, kindness, and practical approach, traits that reflect his own grounded and clear-headed personality. “Life has taught me to stay practical, and my character shares that same mindset,” he adds.
Embracing the Role Despite Differences
Switching between roles comes easily to Reyaansh, though he admits the Tantrik persona is far from his real self. “I don’t believe in cults or Tantra, so I immerse myself in the character’s mindset to make it believable,” he explains.
The Key Contrast: Personality Traits
While Reyaansh and his character share some qualities, their personalities are vastly different. “My character is extremely talkative, which is the opposite of me. I prefer to stay calm, peaceful, and in control of my energy, unlike the hyperactive nature of my character,” he says.
A Captivating Performance
Despite the contrasts, Reyaansh’s ability to portray such a dynamic and multifaceted character highlights his acting skill. His compelling performance continues to captivate audiences of Shaitani Rasmein, airing every Monday to Saturday at 10:00 PM on Star Bharat.
