A Dramatic Makeover for Rakshasi
The transformation of Rakshasi was nothing short of spectacular.
Portraying a dark and mystical character brings unique challenges. Therefore, for Ridhima Tiwari, becoming Rakshasi in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani became an opportunity to explore a look she had never attempted before.
A Bold Colour Palette
Ridhima explained that black felt like the obvious choice. “My character is dark and demonic, so black fits perfectly,” she said.
However, the team introduced creative twists. The ensemble blends black, gold, and rust, giving the look added strength, depth, and intrigue.
A Striking Costume
The outfit features a dhoti-style bottom paired with a short choli, both edged with gold borders.
Additionally, a long veil enhances the costume with a majestic touch. Heavy gold jewellery — a statement neckpiece, bracelets, and arm amulets — further elevates the dramatic aesthetic.
The Headgear: A Real Trial
Ridhima noted that the headgear was the most challenging element. “I’ve never worn anything like this before,” she said.
Even though it is tough to carry it for twelve-hour shoots, the moment she wears it, she completely transforms into Rakshasi.
Small Details, Big Impact
Moreover, the smaller elements make a huge difference. Black nail polish, a nose pin, and rustic-golden tones bring perfect balance to the fierce look.
Ridhima also appreciates the breathable fabric, which makes long hours on set far more comfortable. “It’s a striking and unique aesthetic, and I truly love it,” she added.

After the eight-year leap, Divya’s world shifts dramatically. Consequently, every day brings new challenges and darker revelations.
The biggest threat is Rakshasi, who rises with fierce energy and unpredictable power.
With this in mind, Divya embraces her newfound abilities and prepares to protect her loved ones at any cost.
