Rihanna Home Shooting: Gunfire Hits Beverly Hills Mansion

Pop star Rihanna had a scary security scare when several shots were fired outside the Los Angeles-area home she shares with rapper A$AP Rocky. Reports say the singer was inside the house at the time of the attack. According to the police, a woman drove up to the mansion near Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon and shot at it from her car, hitting parts of the property but not hurting anyone inside.

Los Angeles police say the suspect used a rifle similar to an AR-15 and shot about 10 rounds at the gated property before speeding away in a car. Four bullets or pieces of bullets hit places like the gate and the outside of the mansion. At least one bullet was said to have gone through a wall around the mansion. Officers answered emergency calls just after 1 p.m. local time, and later said that no one had been hurt in the shooting.

Police arrested a 30-year-old woman in connection with the attack and found the rifle that they think was used in it. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is now looking into the high-profile case, but officers have not yet made the suspect’s name or a possible motive public. So far, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s representatives have not said anything about the shocking gun violence at the couple’s Beverly Hills home, which has fans worried.
