Rozlyn Khan embarks on a new chapter after having had a tough and lengthy battle with Stage 4 breast cancer; she posted the removal of her chemo port on Instagram.
“The port is out. The fight lives on,” she captioned, deeming it a symbolic milestone in her recovery.
The Battle: Chemo, Surgery, and Setbacks
Rozlyn’s cancer had infiltrated her spine’s D9 vertebra, complicating treatment. Her course of care involved: as Rozlyn Khan embarks on facing this challenge.

She went through 19 cycles of chemotherapy before experiencing an unusual side effect—chemo-induced Glanzmann thrombasthenia (Type 2), a bleeding disorder that brought her IV chemo sessions to a stop.
Port Removal: A Personal Victory
Rozlyn Khan embarks on a new chapter as the chemo port, once crucial to her survival, has now been taken out. She now starts a 10-year regimen of oral hormone therapy.
