“Fame Has Never Guided Me”: Saanand Verma on Dreams, Struggles, and Staying Grounded.

Mumbai — Actor Saanand Verma, best known for his role as Anokhelal Saxena in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, says he’s never been driven by fame. Instead, he credits his success to humility and staying grounded.

“Fame has never guided me,” says Verma. “I stay normal and simple. That keeps me balanced.”

Big Dreams: From Sitcoms to Silver Screen Villain

While he’s loved for comedy, Verma dreams of darker roles.

“I want to play a twisted, psychotic villain — someone dark and dangerous,” he reveals.

His ideal role? A major villain opposite Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, or Allu Arjun in a Rajkumar Hirani film.

No Plans to Retire

Verma believes creativity has no finish line.

“True artists never retire,” he says. “I want to keep working, keep growing.”

Inspired by icons like Amitabh Bachchan, he sees acting as a lifelong calling.

From Struggle to Stability

His journey hasn’t been easy. Verma faced years of uncertainty and even went three months without work before landing Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain.

“For the last 10 years, I haven’t had a single day without work,” he shares. “That’s God’s grace and my fans’ love.”

A Private Star in a Public World

Despite his fame, Verma avoids industry parties and networking events.

“I don’t socialize much. I’m a private person,” he admits.

This may have limited some opportunities, but he doesn’t mind.

“I feel complete as an actor. I’ve lived my passion.”

A Career Fueled by Passion

Saanand Verma’s story stands out in an industry obsessed with stardom. His strength lies not in seeking attention — but in staying true to his art.
