His role in “Main Atal Hoon” came through the notable casting agency Kavish Sinha and team, where his audition immediately resonated with director Ravi Jadhav. Parikh recounts the thrilling moment when Jadhav saw him as the perfect fit for Mr. Kaul, emphasizing the meticulous attention to detail that went into the film’s production. “The dedication from every crew member, from technicians to makeup artists, was remarkable, making the shooting experience both enriching and authentic,” he adds.

Preparing for his role involved deep research into lesser-known aspects of Atalji’s life, with Parikh aiming to bring a nuanced portrayal to the screen. Filming in Lucknow and near Raibareli, in a heritage property, provided the perfect backdrop, immersing him and the team in the narrative’s era.

An interesting encounter on set was with Pankaj Tripathi, rekindling memories of their previous work together on the series “Powder” over a decade ago. Parikh admires Tripathi’s approach to acting, particularly his emphasis on authenticity before the camera. “Pankaj shared insightful thoughts on the magic of the camera and the importance of being genuine in every performance, a lesson that resonates deeply with me,” Parikh shares.
