Celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s latest project, Sanju has taken the entire cinema world by storm. And guess what, the makers added more to the audience’s fun by releasing a new song on Sunday (July 1). Fun, because it brings together both reel and real life Sanjay Dutts on the silver screen. You read that right! Titled Baba Bolta Hai Bas Ho Gaya, the quirky number is a sarcastic take on the media and has been added as the credit-closing song in the film.
Sung by Papon, Ranbir and and Supriya Pathak, the peppy number features Sanjay and Ranbir at their vivacious best, performing some cool moves in matching outfits. Indeed a visual delight! The song pulls our attention to how media blows any incident related to a celebrity’s life out of proportion in a chase to up their TRPs. Sanju takes us through Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt’s personal as well as professional lives. The actor has almost always been making headlines for various reasons, piquing everyone’s attention. Fans and film fraternity are thanking Hirani for creating a genius. One of the biggest pulling factors of the film is, of course, Ranbir, who has stepped into Sanjay’s shoes and quite literally so! From adopting the senior actor’s body language to enacting dialogues and dance moves to perfection, the young heartthrob has certainly blew our mind. It is said that Sanju is Ranbir’s best performance so far and will fetch him several awards and immense recognition. Proving his versatility as a performer once again, the actor has declared that he is indeed here to stay for long.
Apart from Ranbir acting in the film and acing his role, Sanju features an ensemble cast with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles.
