SEARCHING – Let’s face it, many of us are hooked on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Snapchat. Especially in today’s generation people tend communicate with their family and parents that was as well. “SEARCHING” – which is a path breaking new film by Director – Aneesh Chaganty tells the story of a Widow father played by John Cho, who is of Korean descent finds out his 15 year old daughter Margot Kim has been missing for the past 24 hrs. His way of communicating was mostly by texting and making up calendar events for his daughter by using the internet. It can indeed be a dangerous situation, when you do not know who your children are in contact with on the internet. Sometimes people are not who they are online.
Its is a disturbing thing. Yet at the same time, being like any parent who is in search for their child, will not stop at anything until he finds out if his daughter is alive or dead. His techno savvy computer knowledge comes in handy to find the missing clues of his daughter abduction. That is the pro side of using the internet for solving crimes.
Actress Debra Messing as the Private Detective gives you a compelling performance as well. The films editing style is refreshingly new to watch and is a must see. The film gets a 4 star recommendation. Go for it!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
