Serena Williams Shines at Star-Studded 2025 Baby2Baby Gala, Raising $18M to Support Children in Need

The Giving Tree Award, which is a big deal, was given to tennis great Serena Williams at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala on November 8 at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. The highly anticipated charity event brought together Hollywood’s biggest stars, like Jessica Alba, Ciara, Kerry Washington, and Olivia Munn, to support Baby2Baby’s mission of giving poor children the basic things they need, like diapers, clothes, and hygiene products.

Paul Mitchell hosted the gala, which raised more than $18 million to support Baby2Baby’s important work across the country. Alicia Keys, a longtime friend of Williams, gave the award to Serena to honor her for her work on maternal health, which was especially important to her because she almost died while giving birth. Williams used her time to talk about how important it is to take care of mothers’ health and to praise Baby2Baby for giving out more than half a billion essential items to families in need.

Ludacris gave a special performance at the star-studded event, which also had Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in attendance. Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof, co-CEOs of Baby2Baby, said they were proud to honor Serena at such an important time for the group’s work.

Serena Williams is an athlete, mother, activist, and businesswoman who continues to inspire people on and off the tennis court. She is generous and dedicated to helping children and mothers all over the world.
