A Month in the Lap of Mountains
Shalini shot for a month in Manali, away from home. She missed her dogs, AJ and Bir, but took solace in the quietness of the town. “Manali began holding me in the warmness of strangers and the love of Himachali canines,” Shalini Pandey wrote.
Finding Solace in Simple Joys
A quaint cafe called Avir became Shalini Pandey’s favorite haunt. Nutella bread, Maggi, and ginger lemon tea prepared by Gautam calmed her down. She was also able to find serenity at Sam’s workshop, where clay helped her unwind.
Inspired by Manali Strays
Shalini went to Manali Strays, which is a rescue facility for local strays. Shalini Pandey appreciated what they did and urged fans to donate.
More Than Just a Shoot
Shalini left Manali with memories that grounded her. “The hills didn’t just hold me… they gave me a piece of forever,” she said. As Rahu Ketu nears release and Bandwaale with Zahan Kapoor is in the pipeline, Shalini Pandey’s journey continues to be defined by heart and gratitude.
