In their first-ever Pakistani cooperation, Sharib-Toshi are set to unveil their first captivating Sufi hit, “Salle Alla.
Returning with again another Sufi hit, Sharib-Toshi is coming to captivate their listeners with “Salle Alla.” Here they are with one of their own, Hashim Ahmedani, marking their first single with any Pakistani musician. Under the umbrella of Hashim Ahmedani Production, the artist has also handled the music production for the single, which is scheduled to premiere on August 30, 2024, on all main digital platforms. This one is likely to shake the music scene.
On the deep topics of oneness with God and love, “Salle Alla” is a highly unique and outstanding cross-border musical cooperation. Rising above the earthly, the soulful kalam reveals a great need for spiritual connection. Aiming at a unique composition with live instruments recorded in studios, ace composer and music producer Alex Shahbaz brought this cooperation to life. The song’s lineup calls for strings by Georgian musician Nino Chikviladze, Coke Studio star Joshu Amjad on tabla, Simon on harmonium, and the young musician Musa on guitar. This produces the amazing sound of the new single.
Thrilled to having worked on this project, here’s what the re-innovators Sharib-Toshi said: “To stand distinct is the trickiest and most brave thing among this fast-moving music. Our goal is always to have this Sufi genre reach the present age, and this obviously calls for an undying confidence in oneself. We thus jumped right in the minute Hashim and Alex developed the idea. Along with providing entertainment value, it’s a fantastic chance that brings people together and lets Sufi music enable the discovery experience. Doing more similar initiatives and using the music to serve as the link across the cultural divide excites us much.
While Sharib-Toshi had performed the Sufi song, Zaheer Zarf, the lyricist, wrote the poignant words for it. Further noting that the pair had never worked with Bollywood performers before, hashim Ahmedani and Alex Shahbaz said “This song demonstrates how well music can unite things outside of boundaries. Working with Sharib-Toshi has been amazing, and their simplicity in their music shows. The pair said: “We eagerly want to create some memories with this cooperation and await the audience reaction to this magic single.”
