Mumbai, 3 July 2025 — Actress Sheena Chohan launched the promotions of her long-awaited Bollywood film Sant Tukaram with a spiritual pilgrimage to Dehu, birthplace of the venerated 17th-century saint-poet. On her birthday, 3rd July, Sheena paid a visit to the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Temple seeking blessings as she sets off on this major cinematic endeavor.
Spiritual Beginning to a Bright Bollywood Debut
Sheena’s visit signals the beginning of Sant Tukaram‘s promotional tour. The period film, releasing on 18th July 2025, delves into Sant Tukaram’s life and teachings. The actress takes on the role of Avali Jija Bai, an emotionally rich, sacrificial, and strong character.
Speaking her mind, Sheena said, *”Today is my birthday, and I feel very fortunate to start this special day in Dehu. There could not be a more auspicious way to start promoting *Sant Tukaram. This film is dear to my heart, and setting its wheels here feels like the ultimate gift.”
