Almighty Motion Picture has just wrapped up filming on what’s sure to be a fascinating historical drama, ‘Made in India – A Titan Story,’ with the legendary Naseeruddin Shah taking on the role of the iconic J.R.D. From Book to Screen: The Story Behind the Watch
The series is inspired by Vinay Kamath’s book, ‘Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand,’ and it’s a real-life “rags to riches” tale. It follows Titan’s journey from a simple idea within the Tata Group to the powerhouse brand we all know today. The series really shines a light on the incredible vision of J.R.D. Tata and Xerxes Desai, Titan’s first managing director, who together turned Titan into a household name.
A Stellar Cast Bringing History to Life
Naseeruddin Shah isn’t the only big name attached. Jim Sarbh will be stepping into the shoes of Xerxes Desai. Plus, you’ll see some other familiar faces like Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Lakshvir Saran, Kaveri Seth, Namita Dubey, and Paresh Ganatra. It’s a cast that’s sure to do the story justice.

The production team went all out, filming on meticulously recreated sets and at actual locations across Mumbai, Lonavala, and Bangalore. They even managed to get special access to film inside the Titan Manufacturing Plant in Hosur and Bombay House, the Tata Group’s historic headquarters! Talk about authentic! Almighty Motion Picture worked hand-in-hand with the Titan Board to make sure everything was as accurate as possible.
