Shweta Tripathi has kicked off 2026 on a strong note, as she has successfully wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming social drama Palkon Pe in Bhopal. Notably, the feature film marks the first project she has completed this year.
Shot Across Bhopal on a Demanding Schedule
To begin with, Palkon Pe went on floors in December 2025 and was filmed extensively across locations in and around Bhopal. Throughout the process, the makers followed a tight and demanding shooting schedule. As a result, the cast and crew were pushed both creatively and physically, making the journey intense yet rewarding.

Meanwhile, the film brings together Shweta Tripathi, Abhishek Chauhan, and Eshan Naqvi in key roles. Written and directed by acclaimed ad filmmaker Niddhish Puuzhakkal, Palkon Pe delves into complex and sensitive subjects such as gender equality, mental health, divorce, and sexuality.
Importantly, the narrative unfolds through an intimate, human lens and revolves around the character Shraddha Agarwal, portrayed by Shweta Tripathi, thereby grounding its themes in lived emotions.
