Sooraj Pancholi is set to play the legendary warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil in Kesari Veer: Legends Of Somnath. The film, featuring Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and debutante Akanksha Sharma, recently dropped its teaser, building excitement for its release.
Intense Training for the Role
To portray the 14th-century warrior, Sooraj underwent rigorous training in archery, sword fighting, horseback riding, and endurance drills to physically transform into the role.
Mastering Ancient Combat
Sooraj trained in ancient combat techniques, refining his archery skills, swordplay, and strength. His preparation also included resistance exercises to perform intense action scenes with authenticity.
A Dream Role
Sooraj shares that portraying Hamirji Gohil was a deeply personal journey. “His courage and sacrifice inspired me, and I wanted to honor his legacy,” he says.
A Visual Spectacle
Directed by Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan, Kesari Veer: Legends Of Somnath promises grand visuals and an immersive experience. The film is set to release on March 14, 2025, across India in multiple languages.
