Spider-Man: Brand New Day Filming Wraps – Tom Holland MCU Update

Tom Holland’s fourth Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has officially finished filming. This is a big deal for the movie. Destin Daniel Cretton, the director, wrote an emotional Instagram post praising the cast and crew and praising Holland’s leadership and work ethic.

Filming began in Glasgow, Scotland, in August 2025. There were huge sets built on location, but there were some problems, like a short break in September because Tom Holland had a mild concussion. After he got better, production started up again, and they worked through problems to finish shooting before the movie’s release on July 31, 2026.

The movie is based on the famous comic book arc and follows Peter Parker’s life after No Way Home as he rebuilds himself as an independent hero leading up to Avengers: Doomsday. Tom Holland plays Spider-Man, and Zendaya and Sadie Sink play important roles. A new suit was shown off earlier in production.
