In a world where the term ‘Alpha male’ often conjures images of physical strength, dominance, and a tough exterior, actor Siddhant Issar, known for his role as Maalik in Star Bharat’s supernatural thriller Shaitani Rasmein, offers a refreshing perspective. He challenges the stereotypical view of what it means to be an “Alpha” and shares his insights into what makes a true Alpha male.

In a recent interview, Siddhant explained, “An Alpha male isn’t just about being physically strong or dominating. True Alphas are protectors of their loved ones, and they are strong in character, compassionate at heart, and incredibly protective of those they love.” He goes on to explain how this definition of an Alpha male often gets misunderstood in today’s society.

The Soft Side of Strength

According to Siddhant, an Alpha male isn’t defined solely by external traits such as muscle mass or physical prowess. “Take Ratan Tata, for example,” he says. “He is one of the most successful businessmen in the world, yet he is known for his kindness and care for the welfare of others. His strength doesn’t lie in his body, but in his mindset. His compassion and humility are what truly make him an Alpha leader.”

Siddhant also shared a personal connection to this idea. He cites his father as his personal example of an Alpha male. “My father is the epitome of strength and toughness, but he’s also the kindest, most caring person I know. To me, he’s not just a protector, but also a best friend – someone who listens, supports, and always has my back.”

The actor also highlighted that even in the glamorous world of Bollywood, many so-called ‘tough’ personalities have a softer, more caring side. “Salman Khan is another great example of an Alpha male. On-screen, he may portray tough characters, but in real life, he shows immense respect to his parents and supports countless people in need,” Siddhant added.

Breaking the Stereotype of Men and Emotions

Siddhant also addressed the often-overlooked emotional side of masculinity, admitting that he is someone who gets emotional easily. “I’m not afraid to admit that I cry sometimes,” he says, challenging the traditional notion that men should suppress their emotions. “People often say that men don’t cry, but I believe that’s far from true. While I might appear tough on the outside, I have a really soft heart.”

He continued, “While playing the role of Maalik, a villain in Shaitani Rasmein, people often tell me I don’t seem like the intense character I portray. I may look tough, but in reality, I’m very kind-hearted. Sometimes, I wonder if my kindness is mistaken for weakness, but that’s not the case.”

Siddhant’s portrayal of Maalik in Shaitani Rasmein might be worlds apart from his real-life persona, but it’s clear that the actor is redefining what it means to be an Alpha male, both on and off-screen. His character on the show is mysterious, powerful, and menacing, but his personal philosophy of compassion, vulnerability, and strength through kindness sets him apart from traditional portrayals.
