Starz Ends “BMF” After Four Seasons; Final Episode to Air in 2026

Starz has officially decided to end its hit crime drama BMF after four successful seasons. This confirms the rumors that Starz cancels “BMF”. The network confirmed that the fourth season, which is currently being made, will be the last one. The finale is set to air in 2026.

BMF was based on the true story of Detroit brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. It told the story of how the Black Mafia Family grew in power in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson made the show under his G-Unit Film and Television brand. It has been one of Starz’s most popular original dramas since it started in 2021.

Kathryn Busby, Starz’s President of Programming, praised the show’s impact, calling it a “signature series that redefined the crime drama genre and delivered unforgettable performances.” The network plans to give fans a satisfying ending. It will honor the legacy of the Flenory brothers and the show’s cultural impact.

Since early fall, work has been going on in Atlanta for BMF Season 4. Demetrius Flenory Jr., Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, and Michole Briana White are all coming back. 50 Cent, who made hits for Starz like Power and Power Book II: Ghost, said that the end of the show is “just the start of a larger cinematic universe inspired by Black excellence and ambition.”

Starz is changing its strategy as it cancels BMF and consolidates its scripted slate. This is happening because of leadership changes and plans to expand the network globally. Fans are sad to see the show end, but they are already looking forward to the explosive final season.
