STUBER – “Kumail Nanjiani & Dave Bautista bring that kind of Nick Nolte/Eddie Murphy chemistry from “48 Hrs”, but only this time its about an undercover police officer who is on a vendetta spree after 5 years, when his partner died in a clash encounter.

Bautista plays the tough cop who gets information about where to leed in Korea Town – L.A., But he has just got his laser eye surgery, and his vision needs time to cure. So he hires an UBER driver, played by comedian Kumail Nanjiani, and that is when the joyride begins. There are some great one liners, but ends up to loose steam towards the second half.

The film has the predictable feel throughout the story. But having said that, it is the action scenes that entertain you, and actually; Dave Bautista, who can really deliver in the action genre. Overall this light comedy/action film gets a 2 and a half star recommendation. Enjoy!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
