While some performers proactively plan their careers, others unintentionally discover their vocation. One such person is Stuti Vinkle, who plays Phooli in Sun Neo’s well-liked program Saajha Sindoor. Stuti recently talked about her inspirational path of deciding to follow her passion and become an actress instead of pursuing her MBA goals.
Stuti revealed her early goals in an exclusive interview, adding, “My family is full of attorneys; therefore, I originally planned to follow in their footsteps. But it wasn’t until my father changed my school in the ninth grade that I realized I had a passion for acting.” Stuti acknowledged that before this, she knew very nothing about theatre, but she had always been an active student, willing to take part in anything from athletics to dancing. “I was excited to participate in the theatre performance at my new school as soon as I heard about it, but I wasn’t initially chosen. Nevertheless, they chose to select one additional student, and I was lucky enough to be selected as the seventeenth. I realized that acting was my genuine calling after that event.”
As Stuti’s love for acting developed, she had to make a crucial choice. After passing the renowned CAT exam, she was enrolled in an MBA school, but she decided to drop out when she was allowed to play the lead in Saajha Sindoor. “It was a tough call,” she said, “but I followed my heart, and the love and support I’ve received as Phooli have made me and my family proud of the decision.”
Stuti’s portrayal of Phooli in Saajha Sindoor, along with Sahil Uppal’s portrayal of Gagan, has captured the attention of viewers. The plot of the show centres on the ups and downs of Phooli and Gagan’s marriage, while Saroj—played by Sangita Ghosh—seeks to inflame their relationship.
Every Monday through Saturday at 8:00 PM on Sun Neo, watch Saajha Sindoor to witness the amazing adventure of Stuti Vinkle as it plays out on screen.
