Mumbai, July 24, 2025 — Saroj Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Director Sunil Singh has finally reacted to the Empire Audio Centre controversy, issuing a clarification regarding some serious allegations made by producer Firoz Nadiadwala. He stated that the claims were without merit.
Access Blocked Without Authority
Mr. Singh alleges that on July 18, Mr. Nadiadwala illegally blocked access to the Saroj Entertainment office. Employees and customers were said to be denied entry to the premises at Empire Audio Centre. Sunil Singh indicated that legal action may be necessary.
“Mr. Nadiadwala has no official position—not as a director or representative. He has no legal right to interfere,” said Mr. Singh.
**Allegations of Threats and Intimidation
The statement also makes the claim that Mr. Nadiadwala issued threats. Mr. Singh also intimated the producer’s alleged use of underworld connections to terrorize tenants. Sunil Singh emphasized the need for protection against such actions.
He characterized the incident as a willful attempt to take over the property for personal benefit.
Staff Member Falsely Accused
Mr. Singh brushed aside Mr. Nadiadwala’s assertion that a Saroj staff member initiated the confrontation, stating there was no evidence to support this claim against Sunil Singh’s team.
“The employee had no role in the issue. Blaming him is false and unethical,” he said.
Police Complaint Registered
A police complaint was registered at Amboli Police Station the same day. The officials of the Amboli beat unit and Andheri West jurisdiction came to the location and met Mr. Nadiadwala in order to solve the problem. Their intervention was seen as crucial by Sunil Singh.
